Abstract

Myoko village street in winter, with Mt. Myoko in background. Myoko kogen (Myoko plateau) is one of the best skiing areas in Japan with many ski resorts. The area is part of Japan's yukiguni (Snow country) which experiences snows several meters deep in winter.
