Abstract

View of Diamond Head volcanic crater and high-rise at the eastern end of Waikiki looking from Koko Drive across the suburb of Kaimuki. Diamond Head, in the southeastern corner of the island of Oahu, is Hawaii's most recongnised landmark. It is a volcanic tuff cone, part of a series of the Honolulu volcanic eruptions which took place beginning approx. 100,000 years ago.
