Abstract
Waimea Bay on the North shore of Oahu is the home of some of the most dangerous and spectacular surf in the world. During winter when storms sweep across the northern Pacific Ocean, swells and waves can reach heights of thirty feet at Waimea Bay and fast, strong rip currents run from the centre of the Bay.
