Abstract
Hanalei Beach, on the north shore of the island of Kauai, is a white sand crescent-shaped beach, backed by emerald mountain peaks of the Kauai extinct volcano, waterfalls and with coral reefs offshore. Considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii, this beach was one of the locations for the movie "South Pacific".
