Abstract

One of the bays along the rugged and spectacular Na Pali (lit. Big cliffs) north-west coast of the island of Kauai. The strenuous 11 mile walking track along this coast, the Kalalau trail, ends at Kalalau valley and beach, inaccessible except by boat or hiking.
