Abstract

A view of the treacherous and very dangerous seas at the base of cliffs along the Kalalau trail, north coast of the island of Kauai. The beaches along this part of the Kauai coast are characterised by strong currents, unseen rips and dangerous shorebreaks, unsafe for swimming.
