Abstract
This publication honours the centenary of the Brisbane Kindergarten Teachers College by exploring what it was like to be a student at the College from its beginnings in 1911 to its closure in 1981. While a number of books have documented the history of the College, recording political, administrative, philosophical and social aspects of its operation, it was felt that graduates' personal accounts of life at BKTC would be a valuable addition to the historical record.
