Abstract

Horse-drawn trolley tram is pictured in the foreground. The driver can be seen seated on a stool at the front of the trolley and a passenger is seated upstairs. Advertising writing on the side states the destination of the tram, which includes Valley, Queen Street, Victoria Bridge and Breakfast Creek. Ships lay at anchor on the river. This bridge was later washed away in floodwaters.
