Abstract

Warrumbungle National Park, west of Coonabarabran, NSW. This image shows Crater Bluff, a 250m-high plug of trachyte which formed when lava solidified inside the ancient shield volcano that once covered this area, and Tonduron Spire to the right of Crater Bluff, about 5km away.
