Cynthia May O'Gorman. born 1.2.34 in Ipswich. daughter of Isabel and Jack Bain: wife of Robert. mother of Christine. Helen. and Lyndal. By nature an inveterate hoarder. clutterer and collector of everything from dolls to driftwood. budgerigas to books. shells. rocks and wigwarms for gooses' bridles! A lover of all curious. beautiful and wonderful things. an asker of questions. a frequent sufferer from foot-in-mouth disease. a Jill of all crafts. enthusiastic amateur photographer and hopeful traveller. A simple believer in the ultimate Truth. Goodness. Justice and Marcy of the Creator. call Him whom you may. These poems are written in joyous celebration of the world about us. the .miracle of natural things. the breath-catching wonder and glory of Creation. from the majesty of a rainforest tree to the wisdom in the eye of a bird. And anybody who takes the trouble to read them will come to know me very very well.
