Abstract
These images were taken in front of and from the top of the ANZ bank building looking along Queen Street, to the East and to the West. Jack Bain was an employee of ANZ bank in Wharf Street.
The ANZ building (formerly the Bank of Australasia) on the corner of Queen and Wharf Streets, Brisbane. This building was sold by the ANZ Bank in 1981 and was later demolished. Some of the stones from the building were used for the Garms house "Tintagel" in Tennyson. https://digitalcollections.qut.edu.au/5933/
