Abstract

This special study is concerned with a brief overall study of the Brisbane River in its existng state , taking into consideration the (1) Early History , (2) Geological Formation , (3) Industry , (4) Shipping , ( 5 ) Landscaping, (6) Traffic, (7) Administration, ( 8 ) Policing, ( 9 ) Finance.

A general survey of all these aspects of the river will be submitted with a more detailed survey on that section of the river bounded by the Story Bridge and the Toowong Reach.
