Abstract

Jack Bain worked for the Bank of Australasia and ANZ Bank from 1951. He worked in many branches over his career from the 1920s to his retirement in 1966.

Townsville City is situated in Wulgurukaba country. The city takes its name from Robert Towns, a merchant and entrepreneur, who was a pioneer financial supporter of pastoral development around the Ross River area (Wikipedia)
