Springbrook, Warringa Falls and swimming pool

Abstract

Warringa Pool is an incredibly peaceful swimming hole sheltered deep in a rainforested gully. There is a small plunge pool higher up which flows out over the rocks and into a deeper pool of about 10m in diameter and plenty deep enough for a proper swim. Stunningly verdant views up and down the valley give a lush deep jungle-like feeling to this spot. The extra effort of continuing past the more popular pool at the bottom of Purling Brook Falls will be rewarded with a more secluded and truly special wild swimming experience.
